About the Artist

From her base in Tuscany, Sibilla Pepi designs creatures that draw equally from biology and fantasy. She starts with detailed studies of real-world anatomy, then lets wild imagination take the wheel. The extraordinary results feel surprisingly natural. 

Her works have appeared across various creative fields, from comics to role-playing games. When she first walked into a meeting with Nyx Studios and cracked open her thick sketchbook of pencil drawings, it made us feel like we crossed paths with a field biologist documenting the animal world and its undiscovered species.
